The afternoon crosses the Chott el Gharsa salt flat off-road, passes the film plateaus used for The English Patient, and climbs Ong Jmal — the camel-shaped rock that gives the viewpoint its name. Mos Espa itself gets 30 minutes of free time, which is enough to walk the street and the domes without rushing.
